Senior Pictures
Bryn-Alan will NOT be on campus any more this year for senior pictures. (They have already come on 3 occasions). If you wish to appear in the senior section of the yearbook, you must go to Marietta studio on Saturdays for your sitting. Call them at 800-359-0163 or go to www.brynalan.com for more information. You do not have to order a picture package to appear in the yearbook, but you must go for a sitting.

What is your mantra, your law of life, your favorite inspirational quote? Begin searching for and selecting your senior quote. Download your QUOTE FORM here, or ask your Language Arts teacher for one. They are DUE by SEPTEMBER 11. This quote will be reviewed to determine if it is suitable and appropriate for publication in the Cometa 2010 yearbook. If not, you may be contacted to provide a replacement quote. Otherwise, your quote will not be printed in the It must be no more than 120 characters, including spaces and sources must be noted. No slang symbols, profanity, negative comments about people/school or abbreviations/code words will be accepted. Please remember that other people will still be reading this quote in twenty years or more, and you want to choose wisely. Baby Pictures
You may ONLY submit a baby picture IF you have taken (or plan to take) a formal senior picture. Your baby picture must be of good quality and have your full name written on the back of the photo. Bring it to 10.241 or you may it submit it online CLICK HERE. You should be the only subject in the photo. Photos will not be returned to you until the arrival of the yearbook. Senior Pictures FAQ
Q: Who is the school photographer?
A: Bryn Alan is the photography company contracted with the school to take all class portraits published in the yearbook. Only pictures taken by Bryn Alan will appear in the senior portrait section of the yearbook
Q: When can I have my portrait taken?
A: Bryn Alan will not be at South anymore to take pictures. If you did not make it during their previous sessions, you have your picture taken at their Marietta studios any Saturday in August. You do not need an appointment. The local phone number is 770-528-5833.
Q: Where is Bryn Alan located?
A: Directions to the studio: Take Hwy 28 to 285N to 75N. Take the 3rd exit (#263 - 120 Loop). Follow the signs toward Marietta. Take the 1st right (Franklin Rd.). Bryn Alan is on the left side of the road in building 400.
Q: How much do senior portraits cost?
A: There is a mandatory $25 sitting fee. You have no obligation to purchase pictures from Bryn Alan. Packages prices begin at approximately $80.
Q: What picture will go in the yearbook?
A: Only the formal pose will be published in the yearbook. You must select a formal pose with a blue background for the yearbook.
Q: How does the yearbook staff get my picture?
A: Bryn Alan sends a CD with one image per senior to the school. It is important that you return your proofs with your selected yearbook pose by the deadline set by the company. If you do not meet this deadline, the company will choose your yearbook pose.
